A body found on a southwest Georgia school property has resulted in not only the school’s closure for Tuesday but also has brought in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

According to the Colquitt County school system, the death is not related to Gray Junior High School, where the body was found.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed to WTXL it has taken over the investigation from Moultrie police.

The school is expected to reopen Wednesday.
