But what if you're trying to decide on a name for your unborn baby?
Looking for something original? Or maybe you prefer a trendy moniker.
Either way, Nameberry can help.
Nameberry this week offered a sneak peek in to which baby names are trending so far in 2015.
"For the most part," Nameberry says, "the hottest names of 2015 are all new, a mix of fresh favorites and vintage choices enjoying new attention."
For girls, the hottest name so far in 2015 is Ainsley. Also on the list are Meilani, Amoret and Emerson, plus the more traditional Estelle, Ruth and Judith.
For boys, the hottest name so far is Evan. Pax, Quade and Booker made the list, as well as Adam, Nathaniel and Chester.
Nameberry's sneak peek is suprisingly accurate at predicting what the most popular names will be, so you can ensure your child won't be on a six girls named Bryony in her class.
