Early morning Augusta fire displaces 20 people

Augusta fire crews responded to an apartment blaze early Thursday.
An apartment fire that broke out early Thursday in Augusta has left 20 people displaced.
The blaze erupted about 3:30 a.m. at the Avery Pointe apartment complex on Fayetteville Drive, according to WJBF. One person was taken to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.
One building, which houses eight units, was fully engulfed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
