Gwinnett County police Monday identified the drivers killed in a two-vehicle wreck Sunday morning on Rockbridge Road as Abdirahman Bashir, 18, of Snellville and Nasir Beyan, 37, of Tucker.
According to the police accident report, Bashir was driving a 1997 Nissan Maxima eastbound on Rockbridge Road near Walnut Creek Drive when he “failed to maintain his lane, crossing over a center turning lane and entering the path” of a 1997 Honda Accord driven by Beyan.
Both drivers died at the scene of the 4:30 a.m. crash.
