DeKalb police say they’ve identified one of the two men killed in Monday’s night shooting near the East Lake Golf Club.
Police are waiting until next of kin are notified before releasing the name to the public, Capt. Steve Fore told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Tuesday.
Police are still searching for leads on the shooting that left two men dead, Fore said.
The shooting happened at a home on Barberrie Lane, which is just south of the golf course in a neighborhood off Glenwood Road.
An anonymous call around 9 p.m. Monday brought officers to the house, where they found the two victims dead from apparent gunshot wounds, Fore said.
“Preliminary investigation suggests it may be drug related,” he said.
