A 12-year-old was struck in the arm by a stray bullet Tuesday night, Fulton County police said.

The shooting happened during a vigil at the Sierra Townhomes on Godby Road around 8:30 p.m., Channel 2 Action News reported.

Shots were fired during an altercation at the vigil, and the child was hit by a bullet that went through a wall, according to Channel 2. The child is expected to recover.

No arrests have been made.

Police remained on the scene at the apartment complex in south Fulton late Tuesday night.
