A SWAT team is on the scene of an apartment shooting after Atlanta police say an alleged gunman barricaded himself inside an apartment.

Atlanta police first got a call about a homicide along 2500 block of Etheridge Court shortly after 8 p.m., police spokesman Donald T. Hannah said.

No other details were released on the shooting, but Hannah said the gunman may have been involved in the shooting.
