A couple shot and killed in a Bartow County residence this week was expecting a child, authorities said Wednesday.
The bodies of Angelica Fischer, 23, and Seth Martin, 22, were found by Bartow County sheriff’s deputies about noon Monday.
Fischer was 22 to 23 weeks pregnant, Bartow County Coroner Joel Guyton said.
Guyton confirmed their identities after autopsies were done by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The bodies, which had multiple gunshot wounds, were found in the bedroom of the home in the 4600 block of Anns Trace off Glade Road in Acworth, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.
An investigation is ongoing.
