A shooting suspect surrendered to police Saturday after SWAT officers were called to the scene in south Fulton County, authorities said.

Officers responded about 7:15 a.m. to shots being fired in the area of the Three Lakes Subdivision off Jerome Road, Fulton County police spokeswoman Cpl. Maureen Smith said. Shortly after, a victim arrived at the police precinct near the subdivision with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The police investigation led back to the subdivision, where the shooting suspect surrendered, Smith said.

No information was available on the victim’s condition, and identities of the victim or the shooting suspect were not released.
