Cellphones stolen from a Barrow County Verizon Wireless store led Gwinnett police to three people wanted in connection with the robbery, authorities said Thursday morning.

The three suspects — Brandon Lee Smarr, 29, of Riverdale; Donald Lawrence, 31, of Union City; and Dankivion Chatman, 30, of Atlanta — robbed a Verizon store in Bethlehem, the Barrow sheriff’s office said in a media release. Authorities pinged the stolen phones, which led authorities to the area of Five Forks Trickum Road in Lawrenceville.

The driver was taken into custody by Gwinnett police and Lawrenceville police, the Barrow release said. The other two suspects were taken into custody by K9 units.
