A Sandy Springs man was sentenced to 30 years Thursday after pleading guilty to trafficking a 17-year-old girl at a hotel in 2012.

Martez Martell Fuque, 23, who also goes by the aliases “Diablo,” “Redwings Diablo” and “King Joffey Joe,” pleaded guilty to 11 charges, including trafficking of persons for sexual servitude, pimping a person under 18 years of age and influencing a witness.

Naquana James, 20, of Alpharetta, and Mariah C. Rutledge, 19, of Sandy Springs, were also charged with influencing a witness and pleaded guilty Thursday. The pleas came after only four days of what was expected to be a two-week trial.

Fuque will spend 15 years in prison and 15 years on probation for his involvement in trafficking a 17-year-old girl at the Cobb Galleria Inn in Smyrna, which is now a Holiday Inn.

In the spring of 2012, Fuque solicited a teenage girl at the hotel and took nude photos of her. The FBI was alerted to the incident after she called 911 and reported that she had been trafficked in Cobb County.

While in custody, Fuque called James and Rutledge to talk about paying off the victim in order to keep her from testifying against him. Both took action to wire money to the victim.

Fuque was fined $100,000 for pleading guilty to influencing a witness.

James was sentenced to five years in prison and seven years on probation and Rutledge was sentenced to one year in prison and nine years on probation.
