The GBI is investigating after a prominent community leader was found dead inside her Eatonton home.

Lydia Huggins Ivanditti, 63, a previous director of the Plaza Arts Center in Eatonton, was found dead in a bathtub inside her home Friday afternoon along the 300 block of West Walnut Street, according to 13-WMAZ in Macon. She was found by a family member.

Ivanditti lived alone in her Putnam County home for the past four years, Channel 2 Action News reported.
