Police on Monday were still looking for a motive in a Sunday morning shooting near a sports bar and a motorcycle clubhouse in southeast Atlanta that left a man dead and a woman wounded.
The incident occurred about 1:50 a.m. after “some sort of a dispute,” Atlanta police Capt. Michael O’Conner told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Sunday. “We don’t know what the dispute was at this time.”
Shell casings were found in the parking lot of the Driftwood Bar & Grill and outside Striker’s Clubhouse on Memorial Drive, Atlanta police spokeswoman Officer Kim Jones said in an email Monday morning.
A 44-year-old Fayetteville man, Lloyd Swain Jr., died at Grady Memorial Hospital and an unidentified woman remained in critical condition at Atlanta Medical Center.
Police have made no arrests in the shooting.
