Police: Morehouse College student shot trying to buy marijuana

April 17, 2016A 20-year-old man was shot shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday, while trying to buy drugs at a house party on Whitaker Circle in Atlanta, police said.
Police said the man, whose name has not been released, admitted his drug dealer shot him as he tried to purchase marijuana. He told police he is a Morehouse College student.
No additional details were immediately available, but an investigation is ongoing, police said.
