A 20-year-old Kennesaw man dropped off by friends at a local hospital early Friday has died from injuries he sustained in a fight, police said.
Cobb police Sgt. Dana Pierce said Moses Munyaneza was unresponsive when he was dropped off at WellStar Kennestone Hospital around 2 a.m. Friday.
“The victim apparently died from injuries he sustained after being involved in a physical fight with the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Isaiah Thomas Hunt of Marietta,” Pierce said.
The fight happened in the 400 block of Virginia Place near Marietta, according to Pierce.
He said detectives have filed charges of felony murder and aggravated assault by strangulation against Hunt, who remained at large Friday evening.
