A motorist found dead inside a car that slammed into a parked vehicle at a home in DeKalb County early Tuesday apparently committed suicide, police said.
The impact of the crash caused the driver’s vehicle to spin around and push the homeowner’s vehicle into the house.
When authorities arrived at the home on Broadmoor Way, the driver was dead.
DeKalb police Maj. S.R. Fore told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the driver, whose name was not released, apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
