Christopher Brown, a former teacher at Mount Paran Christian School in Kennesaw, turned himself in to the Cobb County Sheriff's Office on Friday night, authorities said.

In Marietta, Brown faces charges of sexual assault by a teacher and influencing a witness. In Roswell, he is wanted on a charge of enticing a child for indecent purposes. He is in custody in the Cobb County jail, Marietta police said Saturday.

Brown, 37, of Marietta, allegedly had sex with a 17-year-old Mount Paran student in late July. Marietta police learned of that alleged incident from police in Roswell, where Brown is accused of kissing a 15-year-old Roswell High School student, authorities said.

Brown was fired from his job Oct. 4, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
