A 1-year-old boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert was found safe, Atlanta police said Monday afternoon.

Just after 3 p.m. Monday, an Amber Alert was issued for Ryricus Perdue, who was last seen in the 600 block of Elbert Street in southwest Atlanta, police spokeswoman Kim Jones said. Police said he was in need of immediate medical attention and possibly with 53-year-old Mary Favors.

The Amber Alert was canceled about 3:40 p.m. when Perdue was located, authorities said.

Police did not disclose the nature of the relationship between Favors and Perdue or any other details.
