Three Acworth men who robbed two Morehouse College students at gunpoint have been arrested, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
Khari Rashan Latimer, 24, Ceddrick Turner, 19, and De’Arius Waldon, 19, were charged with armed robbery in connection with the April 8 incident at the Gregory Lane Apartments in Acworth, Cherokee sheriff’s Lt. Jay Baker said.
During the robbery, which occurred in the middle of the day in the breezeway of the apartment complex, the men allegedly took an undisclosed amount of cash, jewelry and a cell phone, Baker said.
Latimer was arrested Thursday night in Cobb County on a warrant the Cherokee sheriff’s office secured. Turner was arrested April 11 and Waldon was arrested April 12.
