A southwest Atlanta woman was robbed by masked gunmen Tuesday after answering a late-night knock, police said.
The victim, who is in her mid-50s, told investigators when she answered the knock on the door of her Campbellton Road apartment, “she was overcome by at least three males with masks and guns,” according to an Atlanta police incident report.
“The suspects made [the victim] sit down as they ransacked the apartment and took items.”
The victim told police she would not be able to recognize the gunmen because their faces were covered.
The woman was not injured.
