After a neighbor heard a gun shot and called police Thursday, officers charged a man with child pornography.

Alfonso Little told Channel 2 Action News he had no idea why anyone would be firing a gun outside his Clayton County home on Indian Lake Drive.

When they responded, police said what they found neighbor Mark Anthony Silva had shot at a woman.

Silva’s ex-girlfriend damaged a window trying to get into Silva’s apartment so he grabbed his gun, Clayton County Dep. Chief Joe Woodall told Channel 2.

“As she was fleeing the location he apparently fired a shot off at her,” Woodall said. “At least one that we can determine.”

No one was hit by a bullet, but an officer noticed a 15-year-old girl and camera equipment.

“Things didn’t seem right to the officer at the time,” Woodall said.

The girl told officers she came to his apartment for a photo shoot, but Silva wouldn’t let her leave when she realized she was the only one at the alleged photo shoot.

When police looked at the pictures they arrested and charged Silva with child pornography.

Investigators now want to know whether any other minors were injured by Silva, according to Channel 2.

Silva was denied bond Friday when he appeared before a judge. His ex-girlfriend told Channel 2 she had no comment.
