A Gainesville man faces seven counts of aggravated assault and one count of reckless conduct after he allegedly drove his car into someone holding a baby and fired a gun at a person in a crowd.
Saul Garcia, 29, was arrested Sunday at a residence in the 2900 block of Mustang Drive in East Hall, Hall County Sheriff’s Lt. Scott Ware told the Gainesville Times.
Garcia drove his car into the person holding the 1-year-old child and fired a gun “at another individual who was standing in a group of people” near the 2800 block of Old Flowery Branch Road, Ware said.
“The victim and the baby are fine,” Ware said.
Garcia is being held at Hall County Jail.
