Authorities identified the man shot in the head and killed early Saturday at a Union City motel and have released a photo of a person of interest in the case.
Officers responded to the Motel 6 along Flat Shoals Road about 12:50 a.m. after receiving a call about shots fired, police said.
They arrived to find a man shot once in the head. He was identified Wednesday by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office as Decarlos White, 23, of College Park.
Investigators have not said what may have led to the shooting, but they released a photo of a person of interest.
Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting or the man in the photo to call Union City detectives at 770-515-7991.
