A vehicle caught fire inside a Gwinnett County emissions shed Tuesday afternoon, destroying the structure as flames quickly spread, authorities said.

Firefighters responded to the emissions shop along Venture Drive in unincorporated Duluth after receiving a 911 call about 5 p.m. Crews arrived to find the emissions shed engulfed in flames with the blaze starting to spread to another car parked outside as well as nearby grass and trees, firefighters said.

The fire was extinguished within minutes and no injuries were reported.

The owner of the emissions shop told firefighters he was testing a car when it caught fire.
