Georgia man accused of pistol-whipping victim during armed robbery found in Oklahoma

A man accused of pistol-whipping a person during an armed robbery in Clayton County last year was arrested in Oklahoma on Wednesday, authorities said.

Denescoe Khalil Rose was wanted out of Jonesboro in connection with an armed robbery on June 28, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

He’s accused of stealing an iPhone 7 and $300 in cash during a planned robbery inside a home, the release said. The block where the house is at was not provided.

The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Rose in Tulsa on Wednesday afternoon at his girlfriend’s apartment, the release said. The full list of charges he will face has not been released.

It’s unknown when he’ll be extradited to the Clayton County Jail to be booked for his outstanding charges.
