The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office apprehended an attempted murder suspect wanted in Orange County, Fla., on Friday after he spent nearly eight months on the run.
Shaunric Brown, 19, was wanted in Florida for attempted murder after he allegedly walked up to a Jamaican restaurant order window and shot an employee in October 2014, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Police were able to locate Brown after receiving information about his whereabouts at approximately 2:30 p.m. Friday. Within an hour, he was taken into custody at a residence in Conley.
Brown was booked into the Clayton County jail and awaits extradition to Orange County.
