The FBI and Dunbar Armored on Tuesday offered a reward of up to $20,000 in connection with a weekend armed robbery of a courier in southeast Atlanta.

About 8:40 a.m. Saturday, two men wearing orange construction vests and armed with semiautomatic handguns stole about $190,000 from the Dunbar Armored courier in the 1300 block of Lakewood Avenue, FBI spokesman Stephen Emmett said. The courier had just finished servicing a check-cashing business in the area.

One of the men had on a blue or black hooded sweatshirt with white stripes. The other man was wearing a baseball cap, blue jeans and had a beard. Both should be considered armed and dangerous, Emmett said.

Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts should contact the FBI’s Atlanta office at 404-679-9000.
