A Buckhead sporting goods store early Monday became the latest Atlanta business to be targeted by smash-and-grab burglars.

Thieves broke into Dick’s Sporting Goods in the Lenox Marketplace shopping center in the 3500 block of Peachtree Road just before 5 a.m. Monday.

According to Atlanta police, security video shows the glass front door being shattered by a large rock. Eight suspects, all wearing hoodies, ran into the store and left carrying different items.

The suspects are believed to have fled in a white vehicle and a silver Dodge Charger.

Atlanta police have not said how much merchandise was taken in the burglary.
