Two people arrested in connection with the kidnapping, robbery and sexual assault of a woman in DeKalb County may be linked to other crimes in metro Atlanta, police said Wednesday.

JaQuan Lemon, 27, and Tori Riascos, 21, were charged in the March 6 incident at the Atlas LaVista Hills apartments on Parklake Drive, DeKalb police said.

About 6 a.m., a man came up behind the victim, put his hand over her mouth, and pulled out a gun, according to police. The man then forced his way into her car and drove her to a nearby parking lot, where he sexually assaulted her, police said.

Lemon is from Winston-Salem, N.C., and Riascos is from College Park, according to DeKalb jail records.

Channel 2 Action News reported Wednesday that police believe Lemon and Riascos are also responsible for a second robbery and kidnapping in Decatur as well as a robbery in Atlanta.

Lemon is charged with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of kidnapping and rape. Riascos is charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of theft by receiving stolen property.

“We don’t know how many other victims may come up and report being robbed or sexually assaulted which could be determined by this particular same subject,” DeKalb Public Safety Director Cedric Alexander said during a Wednesday press conference.
