2 dead after shooting on hotel property

Two people are dead after a shooting at a Clayton County hotel Sunday afternoon.

The shooting happened about 1 p.m. at the Southside Inn on Old Dixie Highway in Jonesboro, police said.

Ernest Brown, 25, of Atlanta, and Joshua Densley, 31, of Griffin, were shot on hotel property, but police did not say if they were shot in a hotel room or not.

The Southside Inn is a two-star hotel located off Interstate 75, about 15 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
