A Newton County man wanted by police in connection with two shootings was arrested Friday, days after he allegedly opened fire on a coworker in the parking lot of a Covington manufacturing plant.

D’Andre Wilson-Epps, 29, faces a total of 15 charges in connection with the incidents, Covington police spokesman Officer Justin Stott said Wednesday.

According to police, Wilson-Epps was wanted for allegedly shooting at a home on Harmony Place in January. Then, on April 18, the Covington man pulled out a gun and shot at a coworker during an argument in the parking lot of SKC, Stott said.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

Wilson-Epps was arrested Friday after an officer spotted him driving without a license plate and pulled him over, authorities said.

He faces 10 felony charges and five misdemeanors, including five counts of aggravated assault; two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; first-degree criminal damage to property; two counts of reckless conduct; one count of criminal trespass; one count of pointing a gun at another; and two counts of probation violation, police said.

He remains held at the Newton County Jail without bond, online records show.
