Atlanta police are looking for a woman they say wiped out three bank accounts using another person’s identity.

On Feb. 13, the woman went to a Buckhead Wells Fargo branch at Roswell and Wieuca roads, impersonated an actual account holder and drained the customer’s three savings accounts, according to an incident report The Atlanta Journal-Constitution obtained Friday.

The woman provided the victim’s social security number and two other forms of identification to withdraw $32,000 in cash, police said.

The victim told police she discovered the theft when she checked her balance online. She said her children’s savings accounts had zero balances, too.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to call Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-8477. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
