A Barrow County drug bust resulted in the seizure of stolen firearms, thousands of dollars in cash and several ounces crack cocaine Tuesday, concluding a month-long investigation by local police.
The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office Crime Task Force and the Walton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a Bethlehem home, where they seized more than four ounces of crack cocaine and three ounces of powder cocaine with an estimated street value of $7,400. Investigators also said they found two firearms, one of which was previously reported stolen in Newton County, approximately $24,000 in cash and a basement where cocaine was being “cooked” to create crack cocaine.
Miller Sutton Jr., 57, owner and resident of the home, was arrested on charges of trafficking in crack cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, sale of crack cocaine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was booked into the Barrow County Detention Center and awaits bond.
