Cherokee deputies seek help identifying suspected flasher

Cherokee County authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who reportedly exposed himself to three juveniles over the weekend.

The alleged incident happened around noon Sunday in the Acworth area, near the intersection of Celebration Lane and Shaw Drive, Cherokee sheriff’s Lt. Jay Baker said.

He said the three children told investigators that a heavy-set man with short, red hair and a tattoo on his upper arm exposed himself from a small blue or green sport utility vehicle.

“A similar incident occurred in this neighborhood in July,” Baker said.

He asked that anyone with information on the incident or who recognizes the suspect call detectives at 770-928-0239.
