A couple returning from a trip to the grocery store said three masked men robbed their Buckhead home of a laptop and other valuables Wednesday night, according to Channel 2 Action News.

One of the victims told Channel 2 she didn’t want to be identified because the men, allegedly armed at the time of the incident, have yet to be arrested.

She said the masked men caught her and her boyfriend by surprise after returning home from the grocery store about 8 p.m. Wednesday.

“I was in the kitchen unloading,” the victim said. “He was unloading the trunk and I came to the door to ask him if he needed anymore help. Right as I did [that], I saw two figures in black run out from the side of the driveway.”

She told Channel 2’s Tyisha Fernandes the men came through bushes and all she could see were their eyes. Everything else was covered.

“They demanded jewelry right away,” the victim said. “We’re not jewelry type people so we had to tell them that we don’t have what you’re looking for.”

The victim said two of the suspects went upstairs, while the third one held the couple at gunpoint downstairs.

The couple said they installed more lights around their yard after the incident happened.
