Following the fatal shooting of a senator’s sister to Buckhead over the weekend, a local nonprofit has issued a reward, officials said Monday.
The Buckhead Coalition nonprofit area civic association has issued a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible in the death of 25-year-old Taylor Hayden.
Hayden was shot in the parking lot of The Anchor Down Grille & Lounge about 5 a.m. Saturday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported.

She was sister to Minnesota Sen. Jeff Hayden, who said on Facebook his sister was caught in the crossfire between two Atlanta gangs.
Coalition president Sam Massell, a former Atlanta mayor, expressed sympathy to Sen. Jeff Hayden with the nonprofit’s reward.
The Coalition’s reward doubles the $2,000 reward available from “Crime Stoppers, which is operated by the Atlanta Police Foundation.
