Police have identified the man shot and killed outside a Lawrenceville home Friday afternoon as a 19-year-old.

They also released surveillance photos of a white sedan neighbors said left the scene shortly after the shooting.

Jalee’n Harrell was shot in the driveway of a home along Shoal Court just before 1 p.m., Lawrenceville police Lt. Jake Parker said. He was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators said Harrell did not live in the area.

Neighbors told Channel 2 Action News the shooter sped off before police arrived.

Lawrenceville police released photos from a neighbor’s home security system showing a white Acura TL sedan leaving the cul-de-sac where Harrell was shot.
