Investigators in Dalton have removed the body of a man from a lake at Al Rollins Park.
The body of the man, who was not publicly identified pending notification of family, will be sent to the GBI crime lab for an autopsy to determine the cause of death, Dalton police spokesman Bruce Frazier said in an email.
There were no signs of obvious injuries to the body or any signs of struggle or foul play at the scene, Frazier said.
A passerby reported the discovery at 7:31 a.m. Friday, Frazier said, and police went to the scene at Threadmill Road, which is about 87 miles northwest of Atlanta.
