Investigators have made two arrests in connection with the fatal shooting of a Lithonia man who was discovered last week in the parking lot of an Augusta CVS, the Augusta Chronicle reported.

Samuel Stewart III, 43, died early Thursday after deputies received a call about a man being shot.

Police arrested 29-year-old Porsche Harris on charges of murder and armed robbery Thursday, according to the newspaper. On Monday, deputies arrested 29-year-old Marvin Griffin on the same charges, jail records show.

Investigators believe Stewart was shot elsewhere and then driven to the CVS parking lot by an unnamed person trying to get him to an emergency room, according to the Chronicle. He was pronounced dead at Augusta University Medical Center.

Both Harris and Griffin remain behind bars at the Richmond County Jail without bond, records show.

Christopher Phillips was a Fulton County jailer who had only been on the job for six months.
