Four people are facing charges after Gwinnett County police say they engaged in a home invasion, a robbery and a shooting, police say.

Three men robbed someone at gunpoint Monday in the 1600 block of Cannonball Court in Lawrenceville, police spokesperson Cpl. Michele Pihera said. Then they allegedly demanded money at gunpoint from a mother and daughter in their home on the same street.

While in the house, one man fired a shot near the mother’s head and another man fired a shot near the daughter’s head, Pihera said.

A neighbor heard the gunshots, grabbed his gun, went outside and saw three men running from the house. One of the running men pointed his gun at the neighbor and they began shooting at each other, Pihera said. They were both shot during the gun fight.

The three men drove away in a car driven by a woman, Pihera said. Several residents called 911 to report the gunshots and neighbors gave the license plate number to police.

Soon afterward, the car pulled into the parking lot of Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Pihera said. The driver left after dropping off the man who had been shot, later identified as Israel Bland, 23, of Lawrenceville.

On Tuesday, detectives tracked the car to Winder, and Winder police arrested Jameel Terry Hazel, 25, of Winder. Other suspects were identified as Taneah Jamyce Hazel, 22, of Winder (the driver), and Ronnie Joshua Amos, 20, of Norcross.

Both of the Hazels and Amos are in jail in Winder, but will face charges in Gwinnett County. Bland was hospitalized Thursday and, when released, will be taken to the Gwinnett County jail to face charges, Pihera said.

Potential charges include armed robbery, aggravated assault, home invasion and making terroristic threats.
