Armed man robs Gwinnett gas station before stealing clerk’s car
Police are searching for a man accused of holding a Gwinnett County gas station clerk at gunpoint during a robbery — and then stealing the clerk’s car.
Surveillance video obtained by Channel 2 Action News shows the man enter a gas station off Duluth Highway on Saturday while wearing a mask. Gwinnett police are hoping the suspect’s purple glove might help someone recognize him.
The gunman was wearing one purple glove and one white glove according to the report... kind of odd... really glad no one was injured @wsbtv pic.twitter.com/5TjDt0mN4n

Witnesses told police the gunman fired a shot outside the gas station before entering, and then he fired a second gunshot into the ceiling above the clerk’s counter, Channel 2 reported. Customers inside, including a 13-year-old girl, hid in a bathroom during the incident.
The clerk estimated that the gunman stole about $3,000, and police said the robber used the clerk’s car to make his getaway. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect in that armed robbery fired at the clerk! Here’s the bullet hole. It ricocheted and hit the computer. Fortunately the clerk wasn’t hurt! @wsbtv pic.twitter.com/w3cxmrlttt
