A man was shot and killed at an apartment complex in Sandy Springs on Thursday afternoon.
Ricardo Hernandez Ovalle, 22, of Alpharetta, died after sustaining at least one gunshot wound at the Azalea Park apartments, Sandy Springs police said.
Police responded to a call of shots fired shortly after 4 p.m. at the apartment complex, located at 8805 Dunwoody Place Drive.
Upon arrival, officers found Ovalle on a sidewalk with at least one gunshot wound, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No motive for the shooting and no suspects were identified as of around 9:30 p.m., although police said in a news release that that they were “working on leads.”
