A crash that shut down travel on Ga. 20 and slowed northbound traffic on Interstate 75 in Bartow County has been cleared, Georgia Department of Transportation officials announced around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials added that some congestion remains in the area, and that drivers should use an alternate route to avoid delays.
Georgia State Patrol officials earlier Wednesday afternoon said a two tractor-trailer crash led to the lane closures. They said both trucks were traveling northbound on I-75 in the right lane. As the truck in the front re-entered the right lane from the shoulder, it was struck in the rear by the other truck.
No serious injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
