Eleven people have been shot and at least one has died after separate shootings overnight in Philadelphia, according to multiple reports.
A group wearing ski masks jumped out of a car and began firing at people on a sidewalk close to midnight, reporter Kelly Rule said, citing police.
Five men and one woman have been hospitalized after the possible gang-related shootout in the Tioga section of Philadelphia, reporter Corey Davis of 6ABC said, citing police.
At least six were shot on North Broad Street, according to Rule.
Six were in stable condition, reporter Tim Jimenez said.
Multiple people transported themselves to hospitals, according to Davis.
Meanwhile, police said a man was shot and killed while sitting in a car in Juniata Park, The Morning Call reported.
A double shooting in the city’s Kensington section left two people in stable condition with gunshot wounds to the legs, the newspaper reported.
There also was a shooting in the Fairmount section that left two men hospitalized, the paper reported, citing authorities.
