Atlanta firefighters have knocked down the front of a Buckhead strip club after an early morning fire, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Crews were called to XTC Atlanta just before 6:15 a.m. Friday, Atlanta Fire Rescue spokesman Sgt. Cortez Stafford told AJC.com in an emailed statement.

When they arrived on the scene in the 2100 block of Piedmont Road, they smelled smoke coming from the business. Officials did not clear the scene until after 9 a.m., according to Stafford.

“The fire caused moderate damage to the front of the establishment and smoke damage throughout,” he said.

There were no reports of injuries to civilians or firefighters.

“The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but power lines were down in front of the business on arrival of our firefighters,” Stafford said.
