[UPDATE 5:30 a.m.]: All westbound lanes of I-285 reopened overnight after a crash shut down the interstate for several hours.

The crash between Ashford-Dunwoody Road and Peachtree Dunwoody Road was cleared by 3 a.m., according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. Roadwork continues in a left lane near the ramps to Ga. 400.

ORIGINAL STORY: A wreck has shut down all westbound lanes of I-285 near Peachtree Dunwoody Road, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.

The wreck happened about 10 p.m. Monday, and the Traffic Center reported all lanes remained shut down at 11:30 p.m.

The Traffic Center reported the crash involved injuries. It’s unknown how many cars were involved in the wreck or how many people were injured.

A left lane of the interstate was already blocked for overnight roadwork, according to the Traffic Center. The wreck isn’t expected to be cleared until 1 a.m., according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
