A 20-year-old Roswell man has been arrested in the killings of Natalie Henderson and Carter Davis, two 17-year-old high school students, police announced Wednesday afternoon.
Police on Wednesday morning searched an East Cobb home for evidence in the shooting deaths of two 17-year-olds behind a Roswell Publix.
But it wasn’t immediately known what led police to the small ranch on Gilhams Road, off Mabry Road and just outside of the Roswell city limits. Officers were seen carrying bags from the home.
Natalie Anne Henderson, who attended Roswell High School, and Carter J. Davis, who attended River Ridge High in Cherokee County, were found shot to death early Monday behind the Publix on Woodstock Road.
Investigators have not released a possible motive in the case, and no arrests have been made Wednesday morning.
Both Natalie and Carter were to begin their senior years of high school, school leaders said. Natalie was a member of the Roswell Color Guard and Carter played lacrosse at River Ridge.
But shortly before 6 a.m. Monday, a delivery driver spotted the teen’s bodies on the ground behind the grocery store, Roswell police said. On Tuesday, autopsies determined both Natalie and Carter had been shot in the head.
