The Acworth Wal-Mart was evacuated for about three hours Wednesday after a bomb threat, according to police.

But the store re-opened around 8 p.m. when nothing suspicious was located.

The threat was called in to the store, located on Cobb Parkway near the intersection with Lake Acworth Drive, just before 5 p.m., Acworth police said.

Cobb County police officers assisted Acworth officers with the investigation at the store.

No injuries were reported.
