Multiple injuries have been reported after a mechanical unit burst in the attic of the Seminole Classic Casino on Monday morning in Hollywood, Florida, according to NBC 6.
Fire rescue crews were seen attending to victims outside the casino entrance, NBC 6 reported.
Twenty people were treated for minor injuries and six people have been hospitalized after a fire suppression system tank burst in the attic above the casino’s ceiling about 10 a.m., according to reports.
Seminole Tribe spokesman Gary Bitner initially told NBC 6 the unit fell into the building. Bitner later told NBC 6 a gas tank that is part of the system ruptured.
None of the injuries are life threatening, Bitner said, according to the NBC affiliate.
