Maryland has been added to the list of states that will not hold presidential primaries this spring to minimize the threat of coronavirus.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced Tuesday that the April 28th democratic presidential primary would be postponed to June 2, according to tweet from WUSA-9 reporter Lorenzo Hall.

Just Monday, Ohio announced that its March 17 primary would be delayed until June 2 as well. Georgia and Louisiana also opted to postpone its primary to avoid inviting voters to come out en masse when there’s a national call to limit social interactions.
